With a late 90's influence, SomaHigh have something that is interesting and addictive. Why there is a need to show heavy influences of the great Nirvana, I'm not sure though.
When you combine that with an attitude and a willingness to perform fantastic, well written musical masterpieces, this is a band that has got me hooked, reinvented electro rock/grunge and got me back amongst the world of rock, that I think in this day and age a lot of people have forgotten about, and forgotten about how much talent is out there playing this non-commercial brilliance. You will not forget about SomaHigh.
This Southampton based bunch have a quality about them that you can't quite put your finger on, but you're captivated as soon as you hear them. Vocally an amazing performance, metered with great guitar riffs from Sean Strugnell and fantastic drum patterns from Leon Azor. However, on the down side a little bit repetitive on the lyrics, but I can forgive them for that.
SomaHigh are very addictive and sound full fat.
