The melancholy is over. It seems Crystal Stilts' new single, 'Love is a Wave' is a shift from the black gallows of debut album, 'Alight of Night.' Instead the New York quintet reveals a summer single to glare down on shiny, happy people. But fear not, this two minute and one second long single still retains all the elements of the Stilts' refreshing style; the ghoulish echo vocals, 60's beach guitar, bone rattling bass and shimmering drums. Only this time, 'Love is a Wave' captures the spirit of a young summer romance; new, exciting and - sadly just like the tiny duration of the single - over before it's even begun.
