Winners of Futuresound 2009 revealed to play at Leeds Festival
The winners of Futuresound 2009 were revealed live on Leeds Music Forum earlier today. The five runners up were announced every hour from midday until 4pm.
The overall winner will be announced tomorrow.
The five runners up will play on the BBC Introducing Stage at both Leeds and Reading Festivals and the winner will open the Festival Republic Stage at both sites.
The 5 runners up were today announced as Kinch, The Old Romantic Killer Band, Milk White White Teeth, Wonderswan and Chickenhawk.
