Biography

The Pablos are:

Mitch Cameron - Vocals, rhythm guitar
Andy Steingold - Lead guitar, mouth harp
James Pepper - Bass
Paddy Phillps - Drums

Hailing from Leeds, the band is an original psychedelic garage outfit formed in winter 2008 and quickly rising from obscurity to playing at popular venues including The Cockpit and The Brudenell Social Club.

Their debut EP (s/t) captures the rawness and energy of the band and was recorded at Soundworks in Leeds, engineered by the talented Will Jackson and produced by Hole In The Wall.

The Pablos received a great media response, including airtime on Lauren Laverne's BBC 6 show, who described the music as 'fantastic' and incidentally mentioned the band's 'great hair and faces', before showcasing their blistering rock 'n' roll tune, 'Lose Control'.

Other coverage includes airplays and a live session with West Yorkshire Raw Talent (07/04/2010) on BBC Radio Leeds, 8/10 from whisperinandhollerin.co.uk and what could well be the single most positive review of all time from powerofpop.com.

The band recently supported influential 70s psychedelic-punk-rock outfit, The Only Ones and the more modern 'Strange Boys' and 'Ganglians' at The Brudenell Social Club and their refreshingly individual sound sees them poised on the edge of greatness.
