Anyone

Live at Leeds Festival 2001 on Sunday, 26th August 2001

Anyone, now there's a twist of marketing fate you couldn't even have made up. Imagine the puns you can have with a name like that. But, for all the humour surrounding the band's non-individualistic ideal, they provide a hardcore alternative rock that has had the US record industry reeling. From the early formation, which included Taylor Hawkins, to the present day with a drummer named Nipples and a bassist called Static - yeah, come on, this is a band with a sense of humour after all - Anyone provided those few in the know with thirty minutes of a catchy-come-what-the-f**k show. "The World's Insane" - you're telling us, this from the band who claim they are influences by Jane's Addiction and Led Zeppelin, yet produce one almighty nu-alternative roadshow of an event. Hell, this was good.
