After entering "The Live and Unsigned Competition" and Making into the Last 100 Out of 10000 entries from across the UK, in 2010, Appearing on Real Radio Breakfasts Show and Pennine radio Huddersfield, playing in venues like Sheffield city hall, and The Willows Centre, Manchester, to name a few, Salvo's Chef Brett Lee decided it was time for a new project, After hunting for musicians around Leeds, He Has now started up a band going by the name Northern Torch, formed in late September.

The Band lend a mixture of vibrant piano, sweet guitar licks co-insiding with strong vocals, which produces a unique indie pop sound.

After a Few successful gigs under their belt, the lads are looking to start the new year in full force, keep your eyes open for Northern Torch gigs around Town.
