The Hope and (Brudenell) Social "Sleep Sound" Launch - Friday The 13th of May - full event article at http://ow.ly/4KANw
We wear blue jackets. We give you a kazoo. We ask you to sing.
"a big sound from this impressive outfit...inspired, anthemic, great" - Q magazine
We're proud to announce that despite numerous illnesses, crazy deadlines, work and a general conspiracy against us, Hope and Social will be releasing their next album "Sleep Sound" at the Brudenell Social. Friday the 13th of May is the date, a week on Friday no less... and it's set to be a load of fun.
"one of the UK's top five live bands" - The Independent
This'll be our third album release in under two calendar years and we want to make this a show to remember so, please, get in touch and join us to celebrate the release (I do love the word "release" when you put a record out, seems so apt). We'll be beautifully supported by the one and only Gary Stewart Band and Leeds' own "The Finnlys", and as I've hinted above, this'll be a bit more than simply a gig with bands on... (though there will be bands on!).
"...one of the best acts around..." - Manchester Evening News
We'll be showcasing some fantastic guests... the fantastic, Seacroft Community Choir, AKA "Voices of The Day"... (see the video if us recording here http://vimeo.com/22616753 ) ...and we'll be requesting you join in with us at some stage too no doubt. It's more fun that way.
So, it's the Hope and Social "Sleep Sound" album launch and party at the Brudenell Social Club - Friday the 13th of May
"smash-your-head-into-the-wall brilliant" - Entertainment Weekly
