The inaugural LS6 Beer Fest was held in April 2000, with over 300 people attending the event at Left Bank (Cardigan Road) over the course of the day, and between them drinking their way through nearly 2,000 pints!

The LS6 Beer Fest is back again this year, with two days of festivities scheduled for this coming Friday and Saturday (3-4th June). Once again the event takes place at the Left Bank and those attending will be entertained by a number of fantastic local bands and musicians while they sample the delights on offer.

On the Friday afternoon the beer festival drinkers will be able to watch Laura Oakes, Steph Stephenson and Anais Mutumba. After a small break the evening's bands will be Planet Janet, Alaska and headliner Hannah Trigwell and her band.

Saturday will again see an afternoon / evening split with Nyko Morgan, Louise Distras and Dan Clews taking the 3-5pm session, and The Soul Circle Gang, Black Water, and Raw Peaches! closing the event off.

All proceeds go to Village-to-Village, a small charity based in West Yorkshire who work to alleviate poverty in Africa, supporting community projects in Tanzania and Uganda.
