Biography
Having drawn comparisons to the real greats, from the snarling nevermind the bollocks anarchy of The Sex Pistols, to the uncompromising raw power of The Stooges, bands that will be remembered for generations to come, The Usual Pleasures have all the promise of marching cocksure into the same arena and staking their own place amongst such goliaths.
Formed in March 2009, band members Mark Fletcher (Voice), Chris Jones (Guitar), Rob Neutron (Bass), and Liam Woffindin (Drums), have created a catalogue of songs with drums to make your head rock, basslines to make your body move, guitar riffs that punch you in the gut, lyrics to make your brain question, and vocals that will make your eardrums bleed.
If The Usual Pleasures have an ideology it is simply this; either be fucking amazing or bloody awful, there is nothing worse than being ok - middle of the road will never, ever do. They are on a collision course with total oblivion or complete domination, and they'll be satisfied either way, whichever the case may be, it promises to be one hell of a ride.
'Trying to stick The Usual Pleasures into a musical genre is not the easiest task in the world, but then again I honestly don't think the band give a fuck...the band have a niche sound and you have to accept it for what it is or fuck right off.' (Daz Walsh - Sheffield Music Scene).
