Biography

Ingested is a slam death metal band from Manchester, UK. They were previously known as Age of Suffering. The name change came as a result of a new refreshed line-up with Lyn Jeffs (Crepitation, Cranial Disinterment) joining on the drums.

They released their first e.p entitled 'Holy Butchery" in 2006 and also released a 3-way split entitled "North-West Slam Fest" with Crepitation and Kastrated in 2007. After which they toured around the north of the UK in the early part of 2008 with artists like Desecration, Amputated, Detrimentum, Infected Disarray and Crepitation.
Their debut full-length album "Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering" was released on June 22nd 2009.

They have since gone on to play with bands,Carnifex,Veil of Maya and Suffokate, on Carnifex Hell Chose Me Tour in 2010
