Jeff T. Smith, a.k.a. Leeds based multi instrumentalist Juffage, has announced the release of EP 'Small Fires', the follow up to his critically acclaimed album 'Semicircle'.

The EP will be released on 7th November via the Function Records label and can be bought from bandcamp.com (where you can also download the lead track for free).

The 'Small Fires' EP takes Smith's distinctive larger-than-life performances to an even grander scale, using the studio as an instrument to weave a multitude of sounds into rich sonic textures. But there's careful orchestration under the surface: couched in a patchwork of sounds and cut-up samples is a plethora of pop sensibilities.

Featuring various versions of the album track as well as remixes by Ten and Lee J. Malcolm (Vessels), the EP showcases the ever-compelling song-writing and sonic dexterity Juffage has to offer.

Juffage has two gigs scheduled for Leeds in the coming months. On October 4th Jeff will appear at Oporto, and on October 15th he will play at the Brainwash Festival at the Brudenell Social Club.
