les Flames! head out on a tour of the UK...
Straight from playing a storming gig at a rammed tent at Leeds Festival, les Flames! head out on tour in September to promote their two upcoming single releases. The UK tour starts in Leeds on Sunday 7th September when the band play The Vine with Lapsus Linguae and ends in Wakefield later in the month, taking in Wrathstonbury and In The City (with Colour of Fire) on the way.
Current single Commitment To Excellence - the split with Little Japanese Toy on Wrath Records - is finally being released through Shellshock on Monday (September 8th).
Previous single, Mutley 1 From Essex (also on Wrath) will have its remaining few copies released nationally on Monday 6th October. The record is getting quality press at the minute from the likes of The Fly, Simon Williams @ Unpeeled and is currently at number 6 in Artrockers' playlist.
In other news, a mammoth recording session heralded a host of new material which les Flames! will preview later in the year.
