Finalists announced for Centre Stage 2012

Following the completion of the heats for Centre Stage 2012 last week all eyes were on Facebook this weekend as the event organisers revealed which twelve bands would be playing at the Centre Stage final in July.

The overall winner of Centre Stage, now into its third year, will receive £1000 worth of musical equipment from John Hornby Skewes and Co. Ltd; a performance music video by Shot by Sodium; and a graphic design consultation with West Yorkshire company Define Creative to work on their branding.

The winner will also appear at both sites at Leeds and Reading 2012.

The final takes place at the O2 Academy in Leeds on Tuesday, 17th July and tickets cost just £4 from Ticketweb. The 12 finalists are:
