Live at Leeds isn't just a showcase for the hottest local talent and big name acts, we're lucky enough (or unlucky because you can only be in one venue at any one time) to have a plethora of styles and up and coming acts from across the seven seas. Fresh off their flight from Ireland, we were introduced to A Plastic Rose. With a hard but melodic sound and the kind of stage banter you'd expect from a bunch of confident Belfast boys the band have just finished supporting Snow Patrol on their recent set of arena dates (including the O2 Arena) and with a debut album due in September they've also caught the attention of Kerrang! magazine, appearing in their recent introducing section and earning a spot as part of the awards tour later this year.
The interview was a little impromptu but we couldn't turn down the opportunity to introduce you to these rising stars. Be sure to catch them this July when they return to play the Cockpit.
