Marsicans and The Scandal win BD1 LiVE to play at Bingley Music Festival 2012

In May Bradford Theatres launched their annual search for local music talent to open Bingley Music Live's Main Stage in September.

Over 50 bands entered the competition and the final was held on Friday 20th July. The winners were The Scandal and Marsicans who will be appearing at the festival on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September respectively.

It's been a good few weeks for Marsicans, who were recently confirmed for Leeds Festival 2012 as well. Well done to both bands!

The Main Stage headliners at Bingley Music Festival 2012 are The Charlatans (Friday), Razorlight (Saturday) and Nero (Sunday), and tickets for the weekend are still on sale. Weekend tickets cost £45 and are available online at See Tickets.
