Biography
Named after a man with an extra face on the back of his head, Mordrake is the new project of critically acclaimed Asa Hawks escapees Katy Raine and Mo Ellis, along with Johnny Hart (Lymon Willis).
Blending folk, Americana and rough-round-the-edges ramshackle blues, Mordrake are one of a kind. With rich, precise harmonies, sensitive and skilful guitars and driving percussion, Mordrake bring something fresh to the live music table.
Currently working with MAS Records, the band have just released a session EP. Recorded live at Eiger studios, the 5 track EP can be heard at www.soundcloud.com/mordrake
