Organisers of the Long Division festival have announced the release of a limited number of 'super early bird' tickets for the festival next summer.

Long Division 2013 will be the festival's third year. It is organised by Wakefield Fanzine Rhubarb Bomb and takes place in the city centre using venues as varied as a Theatre, an Orangery, a Town Hall - and a few pubs. Over the last two, Long Division has held a reputation for extreme value for money, fantastic lineups and a certain Wakefield charm.

Next year's lineup will, as ever, see a mix of supreme local talent and superb indie heroes. Some of the highlights of the last two years have been performances from The Wedding Present, Aidan Moffat & Bill Wells, Art Brut, The Vaselines, Herman Dune, Emmy The Great, Darwin Deez, The Twilight Sad, Los Campesinos! The Wave Pictures, Dutch Uncles, Withered Hand, Kid Canaveral and many, many more. For their 2012 event, Long Division hosted 75 bands playing across 9 venues on the Saturday alone.

Announcements for 2013 will come in the new year. The super-early bird tickets are an opportunity for fans of the festival, or those who have seen the immensely positive press, to secure their place at next year's event.

Long Division 2013 will take place June 7-9th. The early bird tickets are for the all day event on Saturday June 8th that will take place in Wakefield city centre from midday to midnight and the ticket allows access to all participating venues over the course of the day.

There are just 100 super-early bird tickets available for £10. They can be purchased via Leeds Gig Tickets.
