The first bands for this year's Long Division Festival have been announced.

The Fall will be headlining one of the venues at the Wakefield multi-venue festival and they will be joined by Ghostpoet, Nine Black Alps, Howard Marks, RM Hubbert and Ed Tudor Pole and more on Saturday, June 8th 2013.

Having performed for over 35 years The Fall will be playing Wakefield to coincide with the release of their 30th album.

Dean Freeman, editor of Rhubarb Bomb and organiser of the festival said: "We have wanted to book The Fall since our first year and to finally have them coming to Wakefield is a dream come true. They are utterly unique and the perfect headliners for a festival run by a fanzine; contrary, awkward, endlessly creative and never bowing to commerciality."

The festival, now in its third year, is organised by fanzine Rhubarb Bomb and will host over 70 bands at various venues across the city.

Venues hosting Long Division 2013 events include The Hop, Wakefield Theatre Royal, Mustangs, The Orangery and Velvet Cocktail Bar.
