Biography
This band is no longer active. It may have split up or changed its name.
Citing influences from Muse to Nine Inch Nails, but sounding like none, FULCs style has been described as "taking grunge, punk and metal, sticking them in a furnace until they're white hot and then hammered into exciting new shapes....".
Kerrang described the band as "one of the most vibrantly inventive young bands in the UK today - it's refreshing to come across a band that doesn't want to fit in " and "A tidy package of real song writing ability and sweaty grunge-metal attitude - FULC have a vision and talent far too large and varied to be cramped by such a small stage"
FULC burst onto the UK scene in 2002 with their 4 track EP "The Fallen" which was released to much critical acclaim. Never ones to stand still FULC released their debut album "Biting Insomnia" in 2003 on Stunted Records and have recently released the follow up album "Embrace.Destroy" in 2005
FULC's own brand of heavy rock saw them become renowned for their livewire stage shows with national support slots for Kinesis, Martin Grech, Oceansize, Span, Hell is for Heroes and Whitesnake amongst others. FULC toured in the UK and Europe to promote "Embrace.Destroy" in 2005
Embrace.Destroy was released in the UK and Germany in April / May 2005 via Shellshock (UK) and Rough Trade (Germany), with an exclusive digital download release of Wasting (track 3 from the album) via karmadownload.com in January.
The video for "Wasting" was playlisted on Scuzz TV and is yet to be given wider exposure.
