To coincide with the release of eight new songs Galaxians are very excited to announce their second major tour, and their first foray across the English Channel to France, Belgium and Germany.

GALAXIANS is Jed Skinner and Matt Woodward. Their debut vinyl release - a 12" split with fellow Leeds dance act Runners on new dance label Stargaze - sold out within two months of its October 2012 release, gaining praise from US dance labels Dither Down (NY) and Rotating Souls (Atlanta), and NY DJ Lloydski (Dither Down). Their first batch of songs - released as a self-titled mini-album on Bandcamp - has been selling steadily since it first appeared in late 2012.

Taking their cues from early 80s NY labels such as SAM, Are 'n' Bee, Sleeping Bag and post-disco producers such as Leroy Burgess and John Morales, Galaxians fuse classic Roland TR analog drum machine sounds with acoustic drums and synthesizers played live, always placing the soulful unpredictability of the human hand and heart at the forefront of their live shows. Since early 2012 they have been moving crowds consistently up and down the UK with their raw, soulful, exciting mix of proto-house, post-disco and boogiefunk. 2013 will see the release of eight new studio recordings, some of which will be cut to vinyl and released in both the US and UK.

On this tour Galaxians will be accompanied (UK dates only) by Game_Program, aka Jonathan Nash (Hookworms / Nope / Cowtown).

Modelled on influential Detroit, NYC, and Chicago house pioneers such as Ron Hardy, Mr Fingers, and Elbee Bad, Game_Program utlilizes all of the classic elements of early house music experimentation to produce the kinds of jams labels such as Trax championed back in the day. GP's songs are simple, direct, soulful and organic, the stand-out of which so far being 'Infinite Light feat. Heywood Floyd'.
