Biography

Drum&Bass/Breaks/Dance

Becky, Pete and Yoni aka Deuce & Charger first met in Leeds as part of 679 Recordings/Warner signed electro band Heads We Dance, who were championed by Mixmag and Radio 1, remixed by Don Diablo and topped the Hype Machine chart of the most blogged about artists in the world.

Now London-based and as Deuce & Charger, they have been breaking on the dance underground since 2014 with support from tastemaker blogs, channels and radio stations including Less Than 3, Skank & Bass, Magnetic Magazine, Drum & Bass HQ and BassPort FM. They have been playlisted on 1Xtra, played on Radio 1 and Kiss Fresh, featured in Mixmag and DJ Mag, and remixed by Chords (RAM Records) and Kronology (Technique Recordings).

Following extensive press and radio support for recent singles 'We Can Beat The Night' and 'Start A Fire', Deuce & Charger emerge from the shadows with the paranoid double-punch of new single 'Who Can You Trust?' / 'Equilibrium'.

'Who Can You Trust?' evokes a schizophrenic future world; spectral vocals glide over an ominous soundscape that builds to a dark, dramatic climax. 'Equilibrium' intensifies the warped nocturnal mood of the release by setting dystopian vocal commands against menacing atmospherics and speaker shredding bass. To round-off the release, new Viper Recordings signing Dossa & Locuzzed take 'Who Can You Trust?' from the half-light to the sunlight with a massive synth soaked remix.

'Who Can You Trust?' / 'Equilibrium' is released on In Charge Recordings on 22 July.
