Shotgun Democracy (commonly abbreviated as SGD) is an English band hailing from Leeds,UK, that formed in 2003. The band consists of Adam Champ (Lead Vocals), Jonty Shaw (Lead Guitarist, Backing Vocals), Joe Hodgson (Rythm Guitar, Backing Vocals), Mark Whittaker (Bass, Backing Vocals) and Sam Hodgson (Drums)
Shotgun Democracy have toured extensively across the UK and America without any label support, to which they received much acclaim. The pinnacle of their touring achievements to date was playing at the near-legendary Emo's in Austin, TX as part of their 2005 Midwest US tour with Same day Service
