This is an archive of the band profile for Cavil.

Cavil's first releases on Vespertine Records were sparse and delicate instrumentals inspired by a Welsh sea-side resort and the mystery of Cluedo. This was followed by releases on Acetone (France), Radio Khartoum (USA), See Through (Italy) and Pop News (France). Cavil has previously recorded one album of lo-fi folk pop in a tool shed in France with Cedric from Paris ("Laughing in the Morning" on Acetone Records). New album, "Mares' Tails", out on the Radio Khartoum label, which has been described as "a delicious slice of lo-fi melancholia" by Uncut magazine..
