Britpop's princes, now relegated to mere footmen, once more still keep plugging away and I guess you have to admire their gusto. They're making music that they clearly enjoy and despite much criticism they have firmly stuck to their guns. This is the second single from current album 'North Atlantic Drift' and displays that they haven't lost the magic that endeared them to the Chris Evans viewing public in the first place. A gentle ballad that gives Simon Fowler opportunity to let his quiet hush roll out into a ascending chorus with its 'boys on the karaoke' chorus. A nifty little guitar line provides the main hook and it's a pretty good tune, but much like OCS's whole career there's just not enough variation to really make it stand out. Backed with live versions of 'Get Away' and 'The Riverboat Song' it's likely you will find some enjoyment here.
