Formed in 2003 in the Level 5 Burns Ward of Leeds General Infirmary, after being struck by rock lightning, The Smokestacks have been perfecting their sound around various Leeds venues ever since. Coming across like a bastard Neil Young/Supergrass hybrid battlebot the boys are now looking at taking their tunes on the road and chasing that ever elusive contract. Nice.
