The first single to be taken from new album 'A Ghost Is Born', Wilco return with an uptempo melody powered by a driving guitar. The riff is immediately addictive, as is the "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9" vocal, before you know it you're being urged towards the chorus where Jeff Tweedy informs us "I'm a wheel, Im a wheel, I will... turn on you". The pop stylings of the melody betrayed by the twist to the lyrics. Nice. A dash of falsetto and some neat little stops all make this a most enjoyable few minutes. It'll kid you that it's just a silly little pop song but enter at your own risk. Backed by 'Kicking Televisions', a vocally fuzzed bundle of energy that contradicts most people's perceptions of Wilco. A worthy addition to anyone's music collection.
