Glaswegian 3-piece Feel Like Falling have an accomplished and familiar indie power-pop sound that will provide interest to many fans of guitar driven grit.

The 3 tracks all convey a similar melodic message and although perhaps lacking a killer hook there is enough in each to push the right buttons. Front man Greg O'Malley has an individual enough voice to pull him out of the crowd and he is well backed through out by some nice guest female backing vocals. There is definitely a less-pop Feeder feel and it's interesting to note the songs were produced by a member of fellow Scottish power rockers Deckard.

It's hard to pick a winner from the CD but it's probably closer "This is your life" with its hard edged verse and soaring chorus, topped with some tasty guitar licks.

Good songs are good songs but in an industry plagued by fashion blinded imbeciles it's hard to see where Feel Like Falling's slightly dated sound will fit. Some more fine tuning and hopefully none of that will matter.
