Leeds-based pop-punksters Buen Chico have been chosen for a compilation put together by the Queens of Noize. The CD - titled "The Best of 2005" - aims to showcase bands that are predicted for great things in the coming 12 months and is available for download on iTunes - the album is currently in the Top 20 iTunes overall chart and in the Top 10 indie section.

Also featured on the compilation are fellow Leeds band 10,000 Things whose recent Gang Of Four cover "Damaged Goods" is included.

Buen Chico are playing a promotional gig for the album at the Camden Barfly with The Long Blondes and The Pipettes on Friday 25th February, and will follow up this release with a new single in April.
