By The KBC
Achingly current, crossing Bloc Party with The Music and The Rapture it's like an NME journalists wet dream. Now don't scoff there is little wrong with all of the aforementioned acts and in doing their blending trick The KBC manage to sprinkle enough of themselves in to the mix. Unfortunately two of those ingredients happen to include a rather wet vocal performance and some lyrics straight from that popular book "Clichés for Idiots". No chorus should ever include the line "Yer trippin on acid" now the Mondays are dead and buried! Still putting these things aside and accounting for the bands sickening lack of years on the clock, this is a strong debut and a band who surely will feel the cleansing ring-lick of those NME journos before too long.
