"Come on, come on you're singing this song". Am I? No I'm not. And nor shall I be listening to it again. The hammond that so wants to be in a Charlatans song, the lyrics of Liam Gallacher circa 1993 and the vocals of someone who's mate said down the pub one night "yeah man you sound jut like Richard Ashcroft, lets start a band".

It's not the worst thing I've heard but I still wouldn't class it as good. In fact I think I would prefer Kula Shaker. 'Brains Like Stew' slightly redeems things, at least it has a bit of life to it and will have Ocean Colour Scene fans dancing along for sure. Oh no... oh dear god no!!! At the end of the track there is cheering from either the band or some mates: "Nice oooone!".

It's back downhill again from here though with the closing two tracks offering very little to capture the ears of the imagination. If you own a Lambretta, only buy Lambretta clothes and your CD collection only consists of OCS and Oasis you might actually like this.

Each to their own I suppose, however this band is 100% more entertaining than your review. Which would i put my money on, them making a top 40 single or you making it as a music critic??? Not a hard decision is it?

How much you willing to bet?

Thats a rubbish bet - they could get a top40 single if only their friends and family bought the record i'd say such is the shabbiness of the charts.

...having said that, and being in the tipster trade, my money is still on Michael Q although we have to define 'making it' as a music critic.

As an aside, every band I know of with Vinyl, 7", 45 in their name is a mod band - why is that?

Look, look , look!! now there is no point bickering and arguing over this band I appreciate that you must obviously be a Franz Ferdinand fan but I will still put my money on the vinyl's!
