This is a review of "Untitled" recorded by Voltage Union. The review was written by Holden DeForge in 2005.

Here we have 4 songs from Voltage Union, fresh from securing a place at Leeds Festival and sounding in fine fettle. The sound is very now with Bloc Party guitar offset with Kaiser Chiefs keys all wrapped up in some up tempo pop numbers with a bit of vim and vigour. The stacatto intro to 'Take Somebody' spits in your face before a chirpy little pop melody wipes your cheek and attempts to make friends.

'She Goes Out' has a great drum beat that provides the backbone for the standout track here. It's a well constructed number that slowly ropes you in like an episode of Columbo. "I'll give you everything I've got just to be alone" declares the chorus and with more like this Voltage Union should find themselves attracting plenty of friends.
