THESE MONSTERS have been mainstays of the Leeds Music Scene for several years during which time they have drunk, danced and gigged across the UK and European mainland with (amongst many others and in no particular order) the following obligatory list of bands: The Fall, Russian Circles, Coheed and Cambria, Health, Hawk Eyes, Foals, 65 Days Of Static, iliketrains, Envy, This et al, Japanese Voyeurs, The Bronx, These Arms Are Snakes, Retribution Gospel Choir, That Fucking Tank, Pulled Apart By Horses, Humanfly, Red Sparrows, Blacklisters, KONG, Oceansize, Lords, Hookworms, Black Elk, Silent Front, Haduken, Shield Your Eyes, Shapes, Youthmovies, Blood Red Shoes, Grammatics, The Catalyst, Take A Worm For A Walk Week, Desalvo, Dinosaur Pile-up, Astrohenge, Bossk, Devil Sold His Soul, Red Stars Parade, Brontide, Talons .......

After several months of business, pleasure, trials and tribulations THESE MONSTERS are back in the saddle and have two very important things to talk about...

Role Model Corporate

2012 sees THESE MONSTERS' founding members Samuel James Pryor, Tommy Davidson and Ian Thirkill directing operations from Role Model House as part of the Role Model Corporate collective.

In regards to the seething Leeds Music Scene, THESE MONSTERS have always been and always will be team players. Role Model Corporate is a concrete extension of this do or die, d.i.y. approach to independent art and music.

Role Model Corporate (RMC) is a new independent record label and creative collective collective based around a new studio space in one of Leeds' seedier areas. From the machinery of Role Model House, RMC will create art for art's sake with zero pretension and maximum passion. The collective acts as a support network for it's artists by releasing our own records, tour managing/driving, producing our own artwork, screenprinting our merchandise and providing space to practice and record.

Heroic Dose

heroic dose n. a quantity of a medical drug sufficient to endanger a person; (hence) a quantity of a recreational drug sufficient to achieve the maximum possible psychedelic or psychotropic effects; an excess of any substance or behaviour.

Heroic Dose is the name of THESE MONSTERS' second full length album.
