By Alkaline Trio
If you like Blink 182 then Alkaline Trio are right up your street. The Chicago three-piece take their second release from the Crimson album, and it's, well ... nice. Not a word I would generally use to review a single, but I am struggling to find any other constructive criticism. I would have liked a bit more aggression and certainty but this disappoints in that respect. Yeah, the lead singer Matt Skiba can belt out a mean track, but not near as forcefully or with enough conviction as the myriad of other artists fighting for space in this increasingly crowded market. The song, after numerous listens, is fairly appealing, but so is a greasy kebab with extra chilli sauce after a night on the lash... not recommended.
