Driving as a form of prayer

By Cal Williams Jr

What kind of music does Cal Williams Jr Play? Cal Williams Jr plays very ambient classical folk music. It is very gentle and easy to listen to especially with Cal's acoustic guitar being the centre of attention.

What is it like? The album itself has aspects of the Foo Fighters' album "In Your Honour" - the not so heavy album. It actually sounds a little bit like something you hear on the Deadwood opening credits, especially tracks 1 and 5. The album is very harmonic and makes you feel totally at ease, the use of guitar slides, incredibly soothing vocals and little to no percussion makes "Driving is a form of prayer" the perfect acoustic chill out album.

What is it good for? Driving, relaxing, moon walking you name it this album is good for it. Perhaps not raving but anything else you can't really go wrong with Cal Williams new album.

Personal touch This album is absolutely fantastic and delivers on every level. You actually feel as if you out in the Wild West just sort of checking stuff out. The songs feel so pure that I can't fault this album at all, every aspect of it was phenomenal. With the album I got a little piece of paper say that Cal had won "the south Australian song writer of the year" award 3 times as well as the Banks music "best new music" award. Quite rightly so it would be a crime for this artist to go unnoticed. This album deserves nothing less.
