A curiously simple fragment of 80s Rock School homework, played straight-faced with no gratuitous virtuosity. There's a four bar intro at half tempo, followed by verse, chorus, verse, chorus, instrumental verse, chorus and four bar ending. The verse and chorus are similar with eight bars each and umm cha umm cha guitar stressing the up beat most of the time. Standard beginner drums and bass don't change much from beginning to end. Louise, enhanced by big echo and graced with pink hair, sings well enough and her melodic phrase in the chorus is the best bit. Purity Jar are taking the first steps on a long journey.
