Flies Are Spies from Hell are an instrumental post-rock band from Chichester and Southampton, England. Formed in 2004, the band have released two EPs. The first EP "Demo EP" was released in 2005 and later on, the "Mountain Language EP", released in 2007.
Their debut album 'Red Eyes Unravelling' was released in December 2009. Go to the MySpace page to get your hands on it and listen free to the track 'Great Deadener' off the album.
Organ said this - "These Flies are a little less predictable with their refined melodic instrumental post rock adventures ... something a little more for you post-rock flavoured progheads - more than challenging some of the bigger names associated with the whole scene."
The album is available from www.fliesarespiesfromhell.com and through Friend of Mine Records in Japan.
The band will release their next EP on Field Records in May 2011 and will tour the UK and Europe from 29th April - 22nd May 2011.
They are also involved with the I Am Joy Music & Arts Festival - held every August in various parks and venues in Chichester.
