When you have a track entitled "RAWWWRR!" then it can only be Metal Core at its stop start heaviest. Bring Me The Horizon double kick drum it up to the hilt, give themselves one hell of a saw throat and chugga-chugga at quite ridiculous speeds. The perfect soundtrack for fifteen year old lads everywhere to be pulling up their black hooded tops, sniffing, bursting spots, playing black and pointy air guitars and generally feeling awkard around girls. Although patently one dimensional in sound BMTH (even the record company can't be arsed with typing the full name) manage to be reasonably inventive in a genre which demands a strict adherence to the code. World hating stuff, the kind every misunderstood metal fan needs.

Bring Me the Horizon are possibly the most vapid, god-awful shower of shite I've ever heard. The songs are formulaic bullshit with some terrible screaming and unimaginative riffs that could have been written by a wombats foreskin- at no point could i detech any subtle nuances or streaks of imagination that might have elevated this bilge into the realm of the bog-standard forgettable toss.

Metal Core done properly: see Beecher, Poison The Well. Metal Core for the MySpace kids- Bring em the Horizon. I doubt any fan of BMTH (i've started doing this now) will bother to write a reply to this, as they will probably be too busy straightening their hair.

Sorry, i don't really get this wound up over bands, but BMRH really do piss me off quite considerably.
