acoustic rock
Chris MacArthur - the former frontman of Leeds Rock outfit "Johnny's in the Basement" - has recently returned to his roots as a acoustic based rock singer song writer. He has a repetiore of original music, both from his days with Johnny's in the Basement, and new material.
He has played all around Leeds - and is a well known face at acoustic and rock nights around the area.
His return to playing solo has been greeted with enthusiasm by those that know him, or have come across his music, as for a while there he seemed to be hanging up his guitar, after the split from his long term musical partners in JITB.
He also promotes, compaires and sound engineers the Acoustic Spotlight open mic night at Dr Wu's on Call Lane every Tuesday night.

Saw you play at the Cough Syrup night on Friday - really enjoyed it - thought you did especially well to have more presence on that large stage on your own than the band that followed.
