Biography

Scissors For Lefty are an indie pop/rock/pop band formed in San Francisco in 2000. Band members Bryan Garza (Vocals, Guitar), Peter Krimmel (Keyboards, Guitar), James Krimmel (Bass, Drums), Robby Garza (Guitar, Bass) and Steve Garza (Bass) met in San Luis Obispo and now reside in San Francisco. According to the band, they "worked (their) asses off", and "burn the candle from all angles, in order to afford living in this contagious city". They released their debut album, Bruno, in 2005. Their sophomore album, "Underhanded Romance," was released on June 12th, 2007 on Eenie Meenie Records.

Scissors For Lefty have played with many popular bands, including Arctic Monkeys, Dirty Pretty Things, Metric, The Fratellis, Panic! At the Disco, and The Fiery Furnaces.
