Actually two artist with the name Stickboy

Stickboy has been writing and recording music for a good few years .... influenced by artists ranging from Dylan to Sparklehorse and always adding his own British pop twist .......you may recognise the sound of Stickboy.... already featured on a national TV advertising campaign for "New Zealand lamb" (recipe for love), BBC3 sitcom "massive" (pirouette), US smash teen drama "gossip girl" (today) and numerous radio stations from xfm to bbc radio 2.

After releasing many now sold out EPs in his home city of Manchester, stickboy self released his debut album "under the sleepy moon" in 2008 exclusively through Piccadilly records (www.piccadillyrecords.com). The single "pirouette" from the album was released through "the lost and lonely singles club" records in August 2008 and got a lot or national radio play which led to a live session with Marc Riley on BBC6 music

Stickboys new EP (ep3) is available for free (if you look in the blogs) it features 4 songs songs written and recorded in 2008.

2009 will see Stickboy busy writing and recording a new album...... with a hope to release it before the end of the year.
