Leeds-based music webzine The Music Guru celebrate their second anniversary next month and the popular site have announced two party gigs to celebrate.

Taking place over the weekend of 23rd and 24th September, the party is to be split across the days as a rock night and an acoustic night respectively.

The rock event takes place at Brudenell Social Club and features headliners Xi, with support from Vatican Jet, The Call, The Touch and The Attic Project. A raffle will also be held in aid of the venue's PA fund.

The “Music Hall” acoustic event takes place at Cardigan Arms and will be hosted by Fran Rodgers. Chumbawamba's Danbert Nobacon will headline this show, with others acts including Fran, Spencer Bayles (Last Night's TV), Gary Stewart Band and Silverlode.
