The Hair
Live at Leeds Festival 2006 on Friday, 25th August 2006
The BBC Raw Talent Unsigned Stage makes a welcome return to the Leeds Festival and warmly welcomes The Hair to tread its boards. With keyboard powered, dance rock tunes aplenty they manage to soon attract the attention of many of the passing festival goers.
The 4 piece generate an energy on stage as they attack their instruments with ferocity and punch out songs such as the stomp-a-thon of "Left Foot, Right Foot". It becomes almost involuntary as your body obeys singer Sam Robson to comply with "left foot stand still, right foot motion", and soon the bulging audience are all bouncing along nicely in time as the band manage to win themselves over a collective of new friends with this energetic display.
