Give In

'Give in' is the third single to be taken from Tina Dico's album 'In the Red'. Pretty voice, inoffensive song, but very forgettable. 'Give In' doesn't attempt to offer anything new to a tradition of middle of the road, acoustic-pop female solo artists such as Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Delta Goodrem, etc... It's the kind of song that has been played to death on angsty teen shows such as Dawson's Creek at crucial points of their emotional awakening, and to be brutally honest, has been done better. Tina Dico clearly has talent, vocally she is faultless, and with such potential she is capable of pushing the boundaries of the genre she has positioned herself in and producing something that will give people a reason to remember her. Not terrible at all, just nothing special.
