Leeds bands sought for Bramley Carnival 2007

Organisers of the Bramley Carnival 2007 are on the lookout for local bands that would like to appear during the weekend-long summer festivities.

Bramley Carnival 2007 takes place on the weekend of the 21st and 22nd July on Town Street in Bramley, kicking off on the Saturday at 11am. Events on the Saturday will close with a fireworks display at 11pm, and organisers are looking for bands willing to support the non-profit community event by appearing during the day.

The carnival continues on the Sunday morning, again starting at 11am, although with an earlier finish planned organisers are only looking for a couple of bands to appear on this day.

Any bands in the area that are keen on playing should contact Bramley Carnival 2007 organiser Terence via bramleycarnival@btinternet.com or by phone on 0113 2555323.

An update from the organisers:

"We have been inundated with enquiries and we have been very successful.

We now have enough bands to perform at Bramley Carnival 2007 and would like to thank everyone who has offered their services"
