Hell Yes

By Alkaline Trio

This single is available as a limited press of 1,000 copies and features 'Hell Yes', from the new rarities compilation Remains, due out 29 January 2007. It first appeared as the secret track on "From Here To Infirmary". Though the music is upbeat and catchy the content, about losing faith in God and turning to Satan, brings the tune into the darkside.

The other half to the double 7" is 'Burn', which Rancid's Tim Armstrong has got his little ska hands on and produced a raeggae/ska mix, making a complete change to the track originally released as the third single from popular album 'Crimson'. The Trio's effort was a little boring and begging to be messed with, which was obliged in various ways by other bands (Test Icicles slowed it down, 65 Days Of Static trashed it up) but this is the better version by far.

It wasn't first released on Infirmary, they released it as an EP with 'Standard Break From Life' just before releasing Infirmary and was added as a UK bonus track.

Awesome song.
