One More Won't Kill Us

By The Hedrons

The Hedrons' debut album 'One More Won't Kill Us' is an enthralling cocktail of punk. The girls have mixed attitude with melody and have produced an engaging album that will have you hooked.

The three singles leading up to the release of the album (all included here) have shown the band in an exciting melodic punk mould, but the album offers more. Songs such as 'Couldn't Leave Her Alone', 'Stop Look And Listen' and 'What Am I To Do' are commendably authentic in sound, while 'Falling Star' and 'Place Like This' are unashamedly Blondie-esque.

The girls also prove that they don't lack imagination. A tight and powerful rhythm is the lynchpin to some excellent guitar work. Clever guitar lines that harmonize the vocals, monster riffs and screeching solos give them a unique sound to be proud of.

With a start to the year like this, 2007 should be one to remember.
