Now I like Biffy. I like the random layers to the songs, the screaming vocals and other craziness from the Scottish trio, and I like that they are becoming popular. Or they will be with the release of this single from their forthcoming album 'Puzzle'. After seven years and three albums they seem to have toned down the scatty sounds and opted for a smoother structure. Yes the overall sound is the same, Simon and the bros' vocals are still intact, but the constant beat and catchy poppy nature of the tune deflect from the early recordings. That said this single will sell really well with young Biffy fans, and is hopefully the one to get them noticed outside of Kerrang.
