This is an archive of the band profile for Vinyl Collide.

"Vinyl Collide should be huge. They encapsulate the sound of charm, youth and belligerent ambition, determinedly seeking something more than the "leave school-get wed-have kids-work-die" small-town ethic that's so easy to fall into" Katrina Pierce - Gigwise

"Several leagues above the chasing competition. Stunning stuff" Mark Barton - Losing Today.

Having been together in their current lineup for barely a year, Vinyl Collide have already reaped huge praise from reviewers and fans impressed by their brand of inner city rock n' roll pop influenced by the music of days gone such as the Kinks and the Jam through to britpop and modern garage rock. The band have recently secured support slots with bands such as Razorlight and The Paddingtons and have uprooted from their hometown of Lincoln to Leeds to try and push themselves further. A third EP is currently in the pipeline and will hopefully match the success and praise created by the previous two, 'Hurricane' and BrightLightsBigCity'.
