Futuresound 2007 organisers have today revealed the thirty bands selected to take part in the annual band competition, with the ultimate winner of the competition set to appear on the Carling Stage! Once again, the competition was fierce and the quality of the region's bands that entered the competition was as usual very high.

Selected from hundreds of hopefuls, the thirty bands will now proceed to play at one of ten gigs at the Cockpit venue in Leeds throughout the summer, where a panel of music industry judges will decide on their favourite bands.

The top six bands will get the opportunity to play at the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival.

The thirty bands are: Armstrong, i concur, Siren Lake , Grammatics, Record Department, Toy Radar, AB Negative, Theft of a Doll, Thieves, Mother Vulpine, Samsa, Wintermute, Jack Afro, New Vinyl, The Resplendents, International Trust, The Spills, The Voltz, The Chiara L's, Rochelle, U R Penetrators, Gary Stewart Band, Kid iD, Micky P Kerr, The Blueskins, The Debuts, White Light Parade, The Stations, Worriedaboutsatan and Your New Antique.
