Unsigned Leeds band The Bribes hit the news this week as they duped over 4,000 people into joining their Facebook page by pretending it was a protest group against the London 2012 Olympic logo.

The band later used their page for its original intended purpose, which was to promote their forthcoming EP, 'One Second of Rave'. A DIY release, the single reflects the new sound of the band. Tim from The Bribes said to LMS, “We feel that after a year of gigging, writing and swapping band members like 90's football stickers, we've finally found the sound that we want.”

The EP tracklisting is “Welcome to Yorkshire”, “The word was out” and “Shopping with girls” and all are available to download from the band's website.
